I had the pleasure of attending the National Preparedness Month event at Patriot High School. I learned some very helpful tips on what to do in the event of a disaster. We also learned about fire safety which is important as California experiences some of the worst fires in our state's history. I got to hang out with my friends from Cal Fire and catch up with Division Chief Jeff Veik. It is important that we work closely with our first responders and as your council-member, I will continue to strengthen our partnerships.
