Saddlehorn Ranch: The Planning Commission conducted a study session regarding Saddlehorn Ranch, a 19.3- acre subdivision consisting of 31 single-family lots. The project will include internal circulation, traffic calming, street improvements, equestrian improvements, and landscaping. The applicant has submitted Pre-application Review (PAR) No. 21005 for this project and seeks feedback from the Planning Commission prior to submitting formal application(s). Status of Project: The revised draft Specific Plan is presently under staff and interagency review. After reviewing the project documents and studies, we will schedule the project for a study session before the Planning Commission. At the work session, the applicant will receive feedback from the Planning Commission regarding the project. Subsequent steps concerning the City's consideration of the project application include the following:

• Applicant responding to Staff review letter
• Planning Commission study session to introduce the draft EIR and provide an update on the project (including any changes to design)

FLABOB AIRPORT:
Have you noticed the new street improvements, buildings, renovated cafe, resurfaced runway, new classrooms, and much more at Flabob Airport? If not, go check them out!

As your (Jurupa Valley's) representative on WRCOG, I chose Flabob as our featured project in our city for the #WRCOG General Assembly. I've included the video below.
VISTA CIELO
Vista Cielo is a 57-lot single-family home project composed of two tracts (TR20249 & TR20250) on 31.3 acres. The project is located west and north of the terminus Kachina Drive and northwest of Virtue Vista Drive within the Mission De Anza Specific plan. The City completed the inspection for the final 16 lots for TR20250, thus finalizing one of Jurupa Valley’s newest housing tracts. All 57 single family homes have already been sold and are expecting final move- ins within the next few weeks.
community SERVICE
We had an outstanding turnout for today's #CommunityCleanup!!!! It was great to see so many Jurupa Unified School District students from #JVHS, #RHS, & #PHS. We cleaned up Pacific and Opal from Mission to Limonite and Mission from Riverview to Rubidoux. Our next cleanup will be in October. I hope to see you there. After the cleanup, I headed over to Rancho Jurupa Regional Sports Park to get the fields painted in preparation of the start of the Jurupa AYSO Region 462 Fall Season! #jurupavalley
infrastructure
At today's #WRCOG Northwest Zone Executive Committee - TUMF we approved our 5 Year Transportation Improvement Program. One of the New/Expanded projects on the list that will receive over $9 million for planning/construction is the Market Bridge. Another significant project on the list that currently has over $2 million allocated is the Rubidoux/SR60 interchange.
In addition, CalTrans had allocated over $2 million to install ramp meters, widen ramps for HOV bypass lanes, upgrade ADA facilities, and more on SR60 in Jurupa Valley.

RESOURCES
council business/community news
We had an extremely successful #NationalNightOut!!!! It was amazing to see all our communities coming together to build and grow our relationships between our residents and the public safety agencies and personnel that serve them.
A huge thanks to the City of Norco and the City of Eastvale for the continued partnership for this yearly event. A special thanks to our #CalFire firefighters and Riverside County Sheriff's deputies for all that they do to keep us safe. I also want to thank the various organizations and service clubs who participated.
Lastly, I want to thank JARPD GM Colby Duguid and the entire Board and staff of JARPD for coordination, partnership, and use of Vernola Park.
I look forward to seeing everyone again at next year's NNO.
Thank you to Inland Empire Resource Conservation District for holding today's event! #JurupaValley residents got to see the progress and ask questions regarding the planned revitalization of the Louis Robidoux Parkland and Pecan Grove. I'll be sharing upcoming volunteer opportunities to help with the revitalization as well as future meetings where we are encouraging public input as the consortium works to prepare the site's master plan. #jvdistrict5 #huertadelvalle
Join the various groups working to revitalize the Louis Robidoux Nature Center now rebranded as the Louis Robidoux Parkland and Pecan Grove. You are welcome and encouraged to ask questions, share concerns, go on short site tours, and more. See attached flyers for more info.
Libraries are an extremely valuable resource for any community and #JurupaValley is lucky enough to have two. Today, the Glen Avon Regional Library reopened to the public with new services, rooms, and more after a remodeling. Libraries tend to be underutilized so I encourage you all to pay each a visit and lose yourself in a good book. #librarylife #books
